If you haven't picked up your copy of "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, you have got to be out of your mind. I just recently finished the book and all I have to say is that it is one bad ass book. I know that people who have become successful have read the book and applied the techniques described in it.
Today I will share with you some tips I learned to help you or maybe I should say help us become rich in the near future. One thing I got out of the book is that you can dream or daydream about becoming rich, but if you don't put it into action, nothing will come out of it. You have got to have the desire and the passion to put your dream of becoming big into work. Do whatever it takes to become successful and don't ever let anyone bring you and your dreams down.
Here's a little method to help you turn your DESIRE into reality.
1. Close your eyes right now and tell yourself how much money you want to make. Don't just say "I want to be rich" or "I want a lot of money." Focus on a specific number, like "I want a million dollars by next year" or "I want to make $3000 next month." Picture that in your mind and believe that the money is already in your possession. Remember, the key here is to be specific.
2. Determine what you need to give up in return for getting the money. You're going to have to sacrifice something in order for you to reach your goal. Whether it's the Starbucks latte every morning or Mcdonalds every lunch break. Remember, you can't get something or anything for that matter for nothing.
3. Grab your calendar right now and circle a date that you intend to acquire your money.
4. Whether you are ready or not, get your gameface on and get to planning on how you are going to acquire your money. You will not achieve millionaire status if you don't have a plan or strategy. You can't do this blindly. Think about it, would you go to war without knowing and learning about your enemy? Heck no! So what makes you think you can become rich without some sort of plan? Remember, put this thought into action whether you believe you are ready or not.
5. Now that you have everything planned, write it out. This will help you get a better understanding of what you have in mind. Make sure that you are specific on the amount of money you want, the date you want to have the money, determine what you need to give up to earn it and have your battle plan all thought out.
6. After you're done writing it out, post this plan somewhere where you can see it all the time. Read it once after you get up in the morning and once before going to sleep. Read this out loud and believe that you already have this money.
